Bill Beurman

William R. "Bill" Beurman, born October 21st 1955 in Pueblo Co., passed peacefully away on Friday, April 21st 2023. An avid outdoorsman, Bill enjoyed hunting and target shooting, as well as fishing and camping. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, and could often be found sharpening knives for local restaurants as a hobby. 

Bill was employed in the Department of Corrections for nearly 30 years, and served in the United States Army in the 1970s. After leaving the Army, Bill went on to marry his wife of 45 years, Suzi, and together they raised 6 children. Bill loved teaching his children and grandchildren about the outdoors, history, politics, science, and much, much more. He was a committed husband, a loving father, a doting grandfather, and an exceptional friend to many in the community. 

Bill was preceded in death by his son William "BJ" Beurman and his parents William F. and Rose Beurman.  Bill is survived by his wife Suzi Beurman; his children, Andrew (Christina) Beurman, Michael (Lace Edwards) Beurman, Matthew Beurman, Daniel Beurman, and Sarah (Jason) Murphy as well as his siblings, Stephen (Jerri) Beurman, Bonnie Beurman, and eleven grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 5th 2023 at 2pm at Ascension Episcopal Church in Pueblo with refreshments to follow.
