Shelley Lynn Horn passed away on January 25, 2022, at her home in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born December 11, 1947, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Lloyd Barraclough and Dorothy Horn.
Shelley was a 1965 graduate of Pueblo East High School. She went on to have 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. (And LOTS of fur babies!) She had a huge heart for kitties – fluffy kitties, cross-eyed kitties, kitties with new baby kitties, other peoples’ kitties, and kitties with no home. She would give her last penny to help a kitty. You would often see her with a crossword puzzle and pencil in hand and a book or two that she was reading, especially if it had to do with the spiritual realm, psychics, or angels.
She was preceded in death by both parents, sister Gayle, and beloved partner of many years, Kirk Metcalf. She is survived by her children – Gary Horn, Allen Frazier, Michael Frazier, Debi Santilli, and Dyann Merriman; nephew – Christian Jett; grandchildren – Meagan, Zachary, Shaleena, Josh, Brianna, Tanner, Bryce, Gabrielle, Danielle, Skylar, Darian, and Gwen; great-grandchildren – Scarlett, Thatcher, and Brynley.
Cremation has taken place. A small celebration of life was held for her immediate family.
In lieu of food and flowers, contributions in memory of Shelley are suggested to:
