Ronald W. Genova

Ronald Wayne Genova , 70, of Pueblo, CO was peacefully called home by the lord on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Ron was born on March 28, 1947. Ron attended Central High School and graduated in 1965. After graduation he served in the US Army, in Germany as part of signal core, where he found his love of German food. After servicing his country, Ron held numerous positions at CFI steel. Ron’s independent spirit later led him to own his own businesses including C&C Concrete and Builders Kitchen and Bath. Ron was an adventurer who loved motorcycling, riding horses and sharing a campfire with friends and family. Ron loved to host family holidays and gatherings. Ron was a member of South Pueblo Lodge #31 AF&AM, where he forged several lasting friendships. Ron was a faithful member of Aberdeen Baptist Church. Ron was preceded in death by his father Dominic Genova; mother in law, Norma Ferguson; nephew, Ryan Casey Genova; grandparents, aunts and uncles. Ron is survived by mother Hazel Genova; wife, Debbie Genova; brother, Donald and Susan Genova; sons, Brandon and Nick Genova; nephew, John Randal Genova; step daughter, Vickie Ingram; step grandchildren, Kenneth and Kelly Sloan.   Memorial service was held at Aberdeen Baptist Church, 301 Cleveland St, Pueblo, CO. on Thursday, October 5th, at 11:00 a.m.  with Masonic Rites by South Pueblo Lodge #31 AF&AM and Military Honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team.  Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com
