Robert Lee Nava passed away January 3, 2024 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.  Robert was born October 12, 1950 in Avondale, Colorado, one of 13 children of Talo and Flora Nava.   He was a member of the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart  in Pueblo and worked in the transportation and maintenance departments for School District #60 for many years before his retirement.

Robert loved sports.  He was a big fan of the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies, he also loved his dogs and taking walks with them but he especially loved spending time with his “boys” and his grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; son, Roman; sister, Frances Bookhamer; father-in-law, Tony Olivas; brother-in-law, Rich Sneed; brother-in-law, Jim Olivas and his nephew, Gary Sneed.   He is survived by his wife Aggie Nava; son, Preston Nava; his grandchildren, Josiah (Jada), Jayden, Shanna and Selanis; 6 brothers and 5 sisters.  Robert is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, extended family and his three beloved dogs.  

A Memorial Mass began at 1:30 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 414 W. 11th Street in Pueblo.
