Margaret A Van Matre

Margaret A. Van Matre passed away January 24, 2019 in Pueblo. She was born Dec 23, 1933 in Hoehne, CO, the youngest of 10 children to  Andreita and Jose Montoya.  Margaret was employed as a secretary for School District #1 for many years before her retirement. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jack M. Van Matre; and 8 siblings.  Her survivors include her children Alan (Evelyn) Van Matre, Vickie (Henry Lopez) Van Matre and Lyle Dean (Geneva) Van Matre; 6 grandhchildren, 5 great grandchildren; her brother, Ernest R. (Jackie) Montoya); as well as her brother-in-law Bobby (Betty) Van Matre; sisters-in-law, Joan (Don) Musso and Marie Van Matre and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.  Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Davis Memorial Chapel.   In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 1207 Pueblo Blvd Way, Pueblo, CO  81005, would be appreciated.  Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com
