It is with heavy hearts we have to announce the passing of our mother Margaret Mary (Steinbach) Nordlund.
Margaret passed away after a long battle of illnesses in Pueblo Colorado, on June 30th, 2023. She was 73. She was born July 4th, 1949, in Denver Colorado. She was the fifth child and first daughter born to loving, hardworking parents Catherine and Joseph Steinbach. She was raised in Denver with her 14 siblings.
Margaret was in the hospitality industry and had owned a thriving construction company. She lived in Florida for many years and then returned to Coloado. She was living with her loving daughter Michelle in Pueblo, Colorado at the time of her death.
Margaret was an amazing person with a fast sense of humor and always brought the party. She always saw the good in people and tried to help her loved ones. She adored living with and watching Michelle’s children grow. She was best buddies with Cody and Haleigh. Nene will forever be missed.
Thanksgiving 2022 was a very special day where she got to have both of her daughters and all 4 grandkids together. Her daughter she gave up for adoption in 1970 came for the feast with her kids JR and Madison. It was a very special day indeed and one she had dreamed of for many years.
