JoAnn Gonzales

  Josephine Ann “JoAnn” Gonzales, 84, passed away peacefully June 19, 2017.  JoAnn worked at the sewing  factory for many years in Rocky Ford and in her later years she resided at Mesa Towers in Pueblo where she acquired several close friends in which she enjoyed spending time playing  cards and dominoes as well as talking about her children and grandchildren.   JoAnn loved her grandkids, and took great pride in teaching them the hobbies she loved like sewing, crocheting, card and board games. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents;  four siblings and children, Carlos “Sonny” Gonzales and Mathew “Matty” Gonzales.  JoAnn is survived by her children; Kathy (Ken) Espinoza, June Montoya, Jean Gonzales, Robert Gonzales,  Renee (James) Hampton and daughter in-law Carol Gonzales,  as well as 13 grandchildren,19 great grandchildren, 1 great-great  grandson, 2 brothers, 2 sisters, and numerous nieces, and nephews.   Funeral service, 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 27, St Leander Church, 1402 E. 7th St.   Donations can be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice.  Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com
