Joan Harr

Ouita Joan Harr passed away September 29, 2021 in Pueblo.  Joan was born February 7, 1932 in Oak Creek, Colorado to Ouita Fern and George L. James. 

Joan received her BA degree from Colorado State College of Education in Greeley.  She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.  She enjoyed baking, sewing, and watching the Broncos,  but especially enjoyed time with her family.  

Mrs. Harr was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, John R. Harr; and her brother George James.  Joan is survived by her children, Shirley Harr, Robert (Jerra) Harr and Nancy Harr; grandchildren, Shannon (Kendall) Yoder, Ryan (Colby) Harr, Shaun Romero and great grandchildren, Luke, Claire, Sadie, Jasmine and Christopher.   

A private service will be held.  Those wishing to do so are encouraged to make memorial contributions to Sangre de Cristo Hospice in Pueblo.
