Jan Chance

Janean Rene’ Chance left this life in Salida, Colorado on March 9, 2023.  She was born in Elkhart, Kansas on May 2, 1963. 

Jan worked for Loaf-N-Jug Convenience Stores for 33 years.  She loved the mountains of Colorado and South Dakota and spent time enjoying the beauty as often as possible riding her motorcycle, camping and just enjoying life. Whenever she could spot an eagle, she considered her day complete. 

Jan was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Cecil and Maudie Stewart; paternal grandparents, Othel and Deloros Chance; uncle Craig Chance; aunts, Othetia, Carlen and Chris Chance.  Jan is survived by her parents Eddie and LaJean; her brother, Jeff (Sonya); a niece, Amber (David) and a great nephew, Theo; special friends, Jaime Miller, Dee Shane Long, Mark and Jo’dee Hollen and Troy and Melinda Rankin; a host of friends and extended family.
