Jacob Alan Kurtz

Jacob Alan Kurtz passed away unexpectedly on February 27, 2018 in Pueblo, Colorado.  Jake was born September 24, 1992 in Pueblo to Jeff and Mona Kurtz.  He was a 2011 graduate of Centennial High and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from CSUP in 2016.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, reading, writing, attending concerts and he loved animals, gardening and the art of glass blowing.  Jake was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Peggy Kurtz and Grandpa Andy Salamon; uncles, Jim, John and George Kurtz III.   He is survived by a large and loving family which includes his parents, Jeff and Mona Kurtz; brother, Jordan; his grandmother, Emily Salamon as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many great friends.  Mass will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday March 9, 2018 in the Christ the King Catholic Church, 1708 Horseshoe Drive.  In lieu of food and flowers contributions in Jacob’s name may be made to the Paws For Life Animal Shelter, 800 N.
