Florence J. Chambers

Florence J. Chambers passed away June 11, 2025 in Pueblo. She was born on May 18, 1935 at home in Madrid, Colorado to John and Lena Sena.

Florence was a very devoted Mother to her children and had many friends. At 90 years old, she was very sharp and was the foundation of our family. We will miss those beautiful blue eyes and her beautiful smile.

Florence was preceded in death by all five of her siblings: her son, David Michael Montoya and her daughter, Lucille Marie Bueno.

Florence is survived by her son, John Montoya; daughter, Geraldine Stewart Larimore and daughter-in-law, Dorothy Ward. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Shonelle Lang, Alan and Dana Robinson, Valerie and Bobby Robinson Jackson, Robert and Shay Robinson and Denise and Jack Bueno; her step-children, Johnny, Jackie, Judy and Jimmy Montoya; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

The family will hold private services at a later date.

Special thanks to Elisabeth at Atlas Portal Nursing Home and her entire staff where our mother resided since 2018 as well as the Sangre de Cristo Hospice.
