Edna Irene Anderson

Edna I. Anderson died December 23, 2021 in Pueblo, Colorado.  Edna was born October 14, 1932 in Hildreth, Nebraska, one of 17 children, of Jens and Bertha Hansen. 

Edna loved her family and being a grandmother; was a talented artist and she enjoyed many crafts, especially quilting.  She and her husband E. Leroy “Andy were very active in the Boy Scouts before his death in 1994 as well as several groups at King of Kings Lutheran Church where they were members. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; granddaughter, Kristi Prigmore; 4 brothers, Ingward, Marvin, Henry and Raymond and 4 sisters, Dorothy, Viola, Lillie and Minnie.  Edna is survived by her children, Kay Hays; Dale (Pam) Anderson and Lyle (Joanie) Anderson; her grandchildren, Michelle (Steve) Payne, Miranda (Jeff) Coleman, Shane (Dariane) Prigmore, Cassey Anderson and Staci (Mike) Rice; 11 great grandchildren, Brendyn, Logan, Max, Damiano, Catrina, Madyson, Amelia, Tori, Michael, Taylor and Colby; 1 great-great grandson, Weston as well as 2 brothers, Stanley and Harold; 6 sisters, Gladys, Leona, Mary Jane, Carol Jean, Liz and Rose.  She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

Cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at 2 PM in the King of Kings Lutheran Church. Entombment will follow in the King of Kings Lutheran Church Columbarium.  In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to King of Kings Lutheran Church.  Online condolences at DavisMortuary.com
