Dorothy L. Pool

Dorothy L. Pool, 93, passed away on November 17, 2023 in Pueblo, Colorado.   Dorothy was a firecracker!  She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her family with all of her heart.  She worked as a cook at Minnequa Community Corrections until they closed in 2013.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Glen J. Pool; sister, Lila Griffith; brother-in-law, Ronald Griffith; brother, Henry Hughes and granddaughter, Michelle McKeighen.

Dorothy is survied by her children; Glen (Sherryl) Pool, Nancy (Edward) Chamberlin, Lea Ann (Larry) Craig and Jeffrey Scott Pool; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by special nephew Howard (Christine) Griffith.  

At her request, cremation has taken place.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 8th at 1:00 PM in the Davis Memorial Chapel.  In lieu of flowers that family suggests donations in memory of Dorothy be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
