Ricardo "Rick" John Rivas

RICARDO “RICK” RIVAS passed away Aug 29, 2010 in Pueblo, Colorado. Rick was born March 10, 1964 in Trinidad to Natalio and Frances Rivas. Rick was a quiet man who loved listening to music, traveling and spending time with his children. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Matilda and Carmen; and his brother Gary. His survivors include his children Mandy, Joseph (Stephanie), Arien, Samantha and Stephanie Rivas; brothers, Jesse (Theresa) Rivas and Stephen Rivas; sisters, Frances “Berna” Ratzell, Sheila (Peter Barros) Rivas and Sandra (Jeff) Comfort; grandsons, Arien, Jr and Aaden, the mothers of his children, Theresa Barrera and Mañon Sanchez as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 10 am on Thursday, Sept 2, 2010 immediately followed by the Funeral Mass. Services will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1145 S. Aspen Road in Pueblo.
