Helen L. Cox passed away November 5, 2009 in Pueblo, Colorado. Helen was born in La Junta, Colorado in 1920 and moved to Pueblo in the early 1940’s. She retired from the Pueblo Army Depot after 33 years of service. She enjoyed her cats and her longtime hobby of beading. She made jewelry and actively helped her daughters in their bead store until 2008. Helen was a very active member in the Pueblo HAM Radio Club for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband Glen Cox and former husband Lewis E. Epperson, AKA Lee E. Stevenson. Her survivors include her sisters, Joan (Ed) Bauer, of Glen Burnie, MD, Shirley (Con) Seay, of Fairbanks, Alaska, her brother Francis L. “Ted” Hedges, of Pueblo; 3 daughters, Dorothy Heptig, Linda Warner and Carol Greenwood all of Pueblo, step daughter Glenda Terrill, of Pueblo, as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The Cox family wishes to thank Sangre de Cristo Hospice for their help and support. Cremation has taken place. A Gathering of Remembrance will between 1 pm and 4 pm on Sunday, Nov 15, 2009 at We’ve Got Beads, 331 S. Union.
