Bertha Specht

Bertha Specht passed away Oct 27, 2009 in Pueblo, Colorado. Bertha was born February 1, 1916 in Loveland, Colorado, one of twelve children, to Peter and Anna Moore. She was a member of King of Kings Lutheran Church and the Good Sam’s Club. In 1971, she retired after 20 years from the Alpha Beta Packing Company. Al and Bertha then owned and operated the A&B Bargains and Used Furniture Store for 8 years. She enjoyed making decorative butterflies and bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 60 years Al, and her grandson Chad. Her survivors include her daughters, Nancy (Dennis) Ferguson, Sherry Salameno and Patti (Ric) Romano; one brother, Ben Moore; 7 grandchildren, Bridgitte, L.V. (Katie), Shawn, Jayme (Paul), Becky, Jeremy and Analisa; 10 great grandchildren, Alexander, Victor, Frankie, Ashley, Austin, Saylor, Seth, Brayden, Hannah, and Owen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Saturday, October 31, 2009 in the Davis Memorial Chapel with Reverend Mark J. Crates officiating. Interment will follow in the Imperial Cemetery.
