Keith K. Kirkwood

Keith K. Kirkwood passed away Sept 14, 2009 in Pueblo. Keith was born Aug 22, 1924 in Lake City, IL to Leonard and Ersie Kirkwood. He was a veteran of the US Navy having served during WWII. Keith was a member of Adriance United Methodist Church and was employed as an electrician at CF&I for many years before his retirement. Keith enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing and camping, he belonged to the Good Sam’s RV Club and loved square dancing. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Donald and great grandson Taylor J, West. His survivors include his wife of 64 years Bettie; daughters, Kay (Jim) McCarty and Kristine Kirkwood; brother, Hugh “Bud” Kirkwood; sister, Helen Butler; granddaughters, Suzette (Bryan) Boyer, Jeanette (Matt) Algien, Lynette (Shannon) Byerly and Shawnette West; great grand children, Patrick, Tyler and Muire McKinley, Ryan and Lane Byerly, Ashley and Nicole Algien and Ryli West; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will greet friends during visitation from 1 until 4 pm on Thursday at the mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Friday, Sept 18, 1009 in the Davis Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bob Spears officiating. Cremation will follow.
