Ruth E. Cox Rigg

Ruth Elizabeth Cox Rigg, 92, passed away July 16th 2009 in Pueblo. She was born Dec 11th, 1916 in Eads, Colorado. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Julia Chapman, husband Walter Cox in 1993, husband Elwyn Rigg in 2004, daughter Joy Roscoe, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Ruth is survived by her children Thomas (Margaret) Cox, of Colorado Springs, Richard (Susan) Cox, of Rocky Ford and Christina (James) Feuerstein, of Colorado Springs. Ruth is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. Ruth was retired from the Colorado State Hospital where she was a Senior Psychiatric Technician for 20 years. Ruth was a member of the Park Hill Christian Church and Blue Spruce Good Sam's Club. She enjoyed camping, crafts, playing cards and doing crossword puzzles. However, the thing she enjoyed most was spending time with her family. Viewing will be held Monday July 20th from 12:00 to 7:00 at Davis Mortuary, 128 Broadway, Pueblo. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday July 21st at 10:00 am.at the Park Hill Christian Church, 1401 East 7th in Pueblo. Graveside service and interment will follow at 2:00 pm at the LaJunta Cemetery in LaJunta. Ruth will greatly missed by her family and friends.
