Donald A. McKenzie

Donald Alan McKenzie Sunrise: July 28, 1961                Sunset:  October 16, 2016 Beloved son, brother, uncle and friend who always shared his love without expecting anything in return.  He was a very special person to those who knew and loved him.  Don lived a very rich and full life, traveling and skiing the Swiss Alps, the Canadian Rockies  and Vail Mountain, his favorite. He visited and worked in several European countries and Mexico.  He was an outstanding project manager in the telecommunications business and oversaw several important mergers.  Don was a loyal Denver Broncos fan.  He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon McKenzie and nephew, Lucas Van Pelt.  Survived by his mother,  Grace Sharp; sister, Jean (Ken) Van Pelt; his brothers, David (Donna) McKenzie, Dan (Donna) McKenzie and Dennis (Michelle) McKenzie; his 8 nieces and 8 great nieces and great nephews, all of whom he took great pride in.  He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.   His family would like to thank Dr. Mark Schwartz, Dr. Steven Johnson and the staff at Minnequa Medicenter for the excellent care that they provided him. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, Oct 20 at 2:00 pm in the Davis Memorial Chapel.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the American Cancer Society or the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program.  Online condolences at davismortuary.com
