Donald R. Moylan

Donald R. Moylan passed away peacefully, late Tuesday evening, August 30th, at the age of 94. Don spent his early years in Pueblo and upon graduation from Holy Cross Abbey he enlisted in the service during World War II and was assigned to the Army Air Corps as a Flight Engineer stationed in Florida. Following the war, he remained in Florida as a construction contractor, heavy equipment crane operator and consultant until 2009 when he returned to Pueblo. Don was a devout Catholic attending mass daily. Don was also active in several fraternal organizations, an excellent dancer and loved to share a drink at any event. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Jeannie Trevisol Moylan; father Peter Moylan, mother Estelle Moylan Leonard, his sister, Margery Smith Simon, and his namesake nephew, Donald Robert Smith. Don is survived by 3 nieces and 5 nephews, the sons and daughters of his sister Margery, and brother-in-law, Harry E. “Gene” Smith: Harvey Eugene Smith; Diane Louise Smith (Wilson) (Maria-Snyder), Jeannine Therese Smith (Vigil) (Dunaway), Leonard Raymond Smith, Daniel Paul Smith, Patrick Kevin Smith, Martin Gerard Smith, and Marie Estelle Smith Fabjancic. Several cousins, great nieces and nephews and family and friends in Florida. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Sharmar Village Care Center and Suncrest Hospice for their kindness and care of Don.
