Bertha "Peg" Ames

Bertha K. Ames passed away March 28, 2016 in Pueblo, Colorado following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born Feb 12, 1919 in St. Charles, Minnesota to the union of Leslie Balcome and Tidal Baier Balcome. She married Roland G. Ames on July 2, 1938 and were longtime Stewartville, Minnesota residents. She was preceded in death by her husband Roland; her parents; sister, Mavis; brothers, Lloyd, Frank and Lewis. Her survivors include son Lonnie; two grandsons Erik (Seanna) and Eugene (Gina); great grandchildren, Matthew, Aaron, Josh, Cami, Chandra, Chris, Chelsey, Alysa; great great grandchildren, Silas, Jeremiah and Greyson; three sisters, Lilas Reiman, Barbara Wondrasch and Sherry Graf. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, March 31, 2016 in the Davis Memorial Chapel.
