David Michael Montoya

David Michael Montoya passed away January 21, 2016 in Pueblo, Colorado following a courageous battle against cancer. He was born March 10, 1956 in Trinidad, Colorado to John and Florence Montoya and had lived in California for the last 30 years. Mike was a 1975 graduate of Pueblo Centennial High School and received his degree in Culinary Arts at Los Angeles Trade Technical College. He was preceded in death by his father and his son David. David Michael is survived by his mother, Florence Chambers; step-mother, Escencion Montoya; daughter, Connie Davett Montoya; 4 sisters, 3 brothers and many other family and friends. Special thanks to Molly Quintana and the Sangre de Cristo Hospice for giving Michael the best of care in his final days. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, Feb 6, 2016 in the Davis Memorial Chapel, 128 Broadway Avenue, Pueblo, CO 81004.
