Hazel "Sue" Sadler

Hazel “Sue” Sadler passed away Mar 14, 2009 in Pueblo. Sue was born Nov 14, 1925 in Cade, Oklahoma the youngest child of James and Dovie Morris. She was employed as a Master Gardener Coordinator for the CSU Extension Service for many years before her retirement in 2006. Sue was a member of the King of Kings Lutheran Church and a former member of Tabor Lutheran Church where she was active in various church circles. She was a Master Gardener, a member of the Herb Society and was a host for several foreign exchange students through the years. Mrs. Sadler was preceded in death by her parents and ten siblings. Her survivors include her children James Frank Smith, Janna Sue (David) Murphy, Lise Michelle Moore and John Daniel Sadler; her sister, Thelma Sue Owens and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 18, 2009 in the King of Kings Lutheran Church, 2561 Vinewood Lane, with Rev. Mark J. Crates officiating. Private entombment will be in the King of Kings Columbarium. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Farmers Market: Sue Sadler Scholarship Fund, through the mortuary.
