Richard also enjoyed the outdoors which led him into becoming a beekeeper, organic gardener and avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed square dancing, golfing, rodeos, Bronco games and making people laugh. His survivors include his children, Scott Bononcini, of Pueblo, Susan (Steve) Chryst and Terena Terrell as well as his grandchildren, Nicholas and Julianne, Sean, Serena, Scott and Sadie. A celebration of Richard’s life will be held on his birthday, June 6, 2009. The family suggests that those wishing to do so would make a contribution in Richard’s name to the Soup Kitchen, S.R.D.A. (Meals on Wheels), to Friendly Harbour or simply to plant a tree in his memory.
