Jerry R. Failing

Jerry Ray Failing passed away January 13, 2015 in his home in Pueblo, Colorado. Jerry was born September 1, 1936 in Las Animas, Colorado to Lawrence Failing and Winifred Case. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and worked as a Psych Tech at the Colorado State Hospital for 35 years before his retirement. Jerry had a great love for animals, he loved fishing and watching sports, especially the Denver Broncos. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Lawrence “Pete” Failing and his son Patrick Jerrald Failing. Jerry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia; daughters Vickie Failing and Tara (Mark) Summers; grandchildren, Teri Ann Keeler, Mark Summers, Jr, Patrick Jerrald Failing II and Kajsa Summers and 2 great grandchildren, Patrick Jerrald Failing III and Payton Jerrald Failing. Visitation for Mr. Failing will be held on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 1 PM until 4 pm at the Davis Mortuary. Graveside services will be held at a later date.
