Laura L. Banister

Laura L. Banister passed away Nov 13, 2008 in Pueblo. Laura was born January 23, 1947 in Canon City to Levi and Viola James and had lived in Pueblo for nearly 25 years. In addition to her ministry, she was a prolific writer and photographer and had several works published. Laura is survived by her children, Allen Hawley, Steven Rayburn, Adrian (Erin) Banister, Carol Hawley, all of Pueblo, her brothers, Carl (Carol) James, of Eaton, Wyatt (Gail) James of Canon City, Gorman (Judy) James of Penrose, eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Ms. Banister will lie in state from 2 until 7 PM on Tuesday at the Davis Mortuary. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, Nov 19, 2008 at the Knights of Columbus, 1200 Acero in Pueblo.
