Phillip G. Haines passed away Nov 13, 2008 in a Colorado Springs hospital. Phillip was born October 13, 1935 in Sterling, Colorado to Melvin and Elsie Haines and had lived in Pueblo since his childhood. He was a 1953 graduate of Central High School and received his degree from Pueblo Junior College in 1955. He worked in the trucking business for 40 years before retiring from N&W Truck Lines in 1995. Mr. Haines was a lifetime member of B.P.O. Elks Lodge #90, and the F.O. Eagles #145 in Pueblo. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kay Haines of the family home, daughters Shelley (Mike) Lundy of Avondale, Sheri Haines of Pueblo, sister-in-law Gloria (Ed) Englebrecht of Pueblo West, brother-in-law Roy Ard, of Pueblo, and several nieces and nephews. Cremation in the Davis Crematory. There will be no public services. In lieu of food and flowers the family suggests donation in memory of Phillip be made to the charity of your choice.
