Alleyne E. Moneyhun

Alleyne E. Moneyhun passed away Aug 18, 2008 at her home in Trinidad. Nana, as she was affectionately known, was born July 17, 1927 in Wichita, Kansas, one of three children to Frank and Mable Fisher. On Mary 20, 1946, she married RD Moneyhun and they have been residents of Trinidad since 1988. She was a longtime member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Alleyne was preceded in death by her parents, 2 daughters Tammy and Lyn and her brother Frank Fisher Jr. Her survivors include her husband of 62 years RD, of Trinidad, son Terry (Katie) Moneyhun, of Wichita, KS, daughter Kelly (Kevin) Cortez, of Trinidad, her sister Jean Galloup, of Wichita, her grandchildren Blair Hewitt, Chase Cortez and Kamre Cortez as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Friday, Aug 22, 2008 in the Trinity Episcopal Church, 119 Colorado Ave, in Trinidad with Rev Janet Rawlins officiating.
