Ronald Lamont Geyer met the Lord on June 2, 2014. He was born in Hastings, Nebraska on Oct. 12, 1950 and had lived in Pueblo most of his life. Ron graduated from South High School in 1968 and then proudly served in the US Army in Vietnam 1970-71. He was awarded the Purple Heart, Accommodation Medal of Valor as well as other service Medals and Accommodations for service beyond call. Ron worked as a Pipefitter/Welder for Local 20, Local 58 and Quality Plumbing and Heating while family owned before his retirement. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles W. and Loretta Jean Geyer. He is survived by his brother Charles “Chuck” (Charlotte) Geyer, Jr; a sister, Debra K. (Mark) Franson as well as several nieces, nephews, family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Friday June 6, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Broadway Christian Church, 206 Broadway with Military Honors by the Pueblo Veterans Ritual Team. A reception will follow in the church hall. Donations in memory of Ron may be made to the Broadway Christian Church Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice.
