Carolyn Rosetta Manning McWilliams passed from this world Sunday, May 18, 2014. She was born July 19, 1942 in Monte Vista where she grew up with her sister Carol Sue and enjoyed archery and the Civil Air Patrol as hobbies. She married Steven McWilliams on April 20, 1963, becoming a proud Navy Wife for 20 years and the mother of 4 children. Carolyn studied nursing at St. Mary-Corwin Hospital and business at Pueblo Community College. She was an avid crafter enjoying macramé, crochet, knitting and doll making. For many years she was involved in the American Legion and the Irish Club of Pueblo. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents William and Marjorie, a brother Thomas Edward, and twin sister Marilyn Jeanetta. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Steven; children, Richard (Tonya), Jeanette McWilliams (Ben), Rebecca (Floyd) McMurtree and Barbara Hecker and a sister Carol (Art) Keil. She was a proud grandmother to Kyle, Megan, Tyler, Kathryn, Elizabeth, Jack, Steven and Giselle. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Davis Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in the Imperial Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Sangre de Cristo Hospice. Online condolences www.davismortuary.com.
