Edison "Bud" Baldwin

Edison “Bud” Baldwin departed this life on Nov 29, 2013. He was born on May 3, 1924 in Pueblo to Elmer and Florence Baldwin. He attended school and graduated from Fowler High School in 1941. He entered the U.S. Navy in 1943 and served in the South Pacific as a Pharmacist Mate attached to the Marine Corps during WWII. He then joined the Navy Seabees and completed 20+ years of service. Following his military discharge, Edison worked in the construction field and was a superintendent for H.W. Houston of Pueblo. He belonged to Silver State Lodge #95 AF&AM, TREA Chapter #20 of Pueblo, Eagles #145 and the King of Kings Lutheran Church. Bud was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Samuel Thomas Baldwin. His survivors include his loving wife of 67 years, Nelcena Baldwin; three sons, Ed (Cherlynn), of Nashville, TN, Tom (Janelle), of Fort Collins and Don (Glenna), of Pueblo; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; his sister Juanita Blatnick, of Pueblo, and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be held on Sat, Dec 7, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the King of Kings Lutheran Church, 2561 Vinewood in Pueblo.
