Henrietta Grace Morgan Schade

Henrietta Grace Morgan Schade was born August 7, 1920 in Stevens County, Kansas. Following a lengthy illness, she departed this life on April 23, 2008 in Pueblo. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Grace’s loving and devoted husband, Robert, preceded her in death on January 22, 2008. Grace is survived by her daughters, Sandra Wyant (Earl, deceased) and Ardith Schade of Colorado Springs, Kathy Vincent (Wayne) of Pueblo and Candus Garrett, who preceded her in death; grandchildren, Kelly Levar (Mike), Russell Wyant (Christine Sanders), Misty Wyant, Shanda Sandoval, Sherry Veres (David), Heather Masesie (Leka Poloa); seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Her sister Hazel Alice Hunter and sister-in-law Frances Morgan also survive her. Her brothers James Jay and Clayton Frank and a sister Lovetta Rose preceded her in death. Grace was a housewife in the Avondale area, worked as a 4-H Leader, very active in PTA, and served in many capacities at the Avondale United Methodist Church. She moved to Pueblo, where she lived for several years acting as baby sitter for her grandchildren and active in church work. She then moved to Canon City where she assisted her husband in the ownership and management of the Shade Tree Realty Company. Grace was an avid gardener. To be closer to her family, she moved to Pueblo and became an active member of Wesley United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, 85 Stanford in Pueblo on Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers and food, please make contributions to Wesley United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or the Avondale United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Internment will be at a later date.
