James Ray McCarty

James Ray McCarty died unexpectedly on March 23, 2008 in Pueblo. James was born Dec 5, 1988 in Raton, New Mexico and graduated from Pueblo Centennial High School in 2007. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Jennie McCarty, great grandparents Manuel and Rita Tafoya, Augustine and Priscilla Trujillo, uncles David and Tino Trujillo and a cousin Mark Apodaca. His survivors include his parents Paul and Rosalie McCarty, his brothers Christopher and Brandon McCarty, all of Pueblo West, his grandparents Chris and Beatrice Trujillo, of Raton, aunts and uncles, Ron and Mary Ann Nolde of Wellington, CO, Ray and Frances McCarty, Christina and Gary Sequra all of Denver, William and Melanie McCarty, Gilbert “Speedy” Trujillo and Crystal Garcia all of Raton as well as numerous cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held at 10 am on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at the Majestic Baptist Church, corner of Hemlock and Purcell, in Pueblo West. Cremation followed. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in James name be made to the American Cancer Society.
