Henrietta Betts

Henrietta “Retta” Betts went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2013 after a valiant struggle with cancer. Retta was born in Pueblo April 17, 1946 and was a graduate of South High School. She was employed for many years as a secretary for several government agencies in this area. She was preceded in death by her father Clyde Wilson and husband Grover Betts. Retta is survived by her children; Tawona (Sal) Katz, Kevin (Brook) Betts, Steven (Laya) Betts, Tamishia Betts, her mother, Clara Mae Wilson, siblings; Clyde Wilson Jr., George (JoAnn) Wilson, Charles Wilson, Sidney (Nancy) Wilson, Donald Wilson, Clarice Anderson, Sandra Wilson, grandchildren; Zachary, Kobi, Josiah, Kadyn, Keshawn, Isaiah, Claire, Xavier, and one due in June, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. On Monday, March 18, 2013 the family will greet friends beginning at 10 AM followed by a memorial service at 11 AM in the First AME Church, 613 W. Mesa in Pueblo.
