Scott MacKenzie Gill

Scott MacKenzie Gill, 52, formerly of Avondale, Colorado, was called home on December 13, 2012 after a battle with cancer. He was a master stucco mason and owned two stucco businesses in Texas and Pueblo Tex Stucco Company in El Paso County. Scott had a CDL and had seen every state in the lower 48 as well as Canada. He was a member of the Avondale United Methodist Church. He loved his family, nature, animals and was a avid reader of all types of books. Scott was preceded in death by his sister Shannon Mary in 1989 and his father Richard Irwin Gill in 1991. His survivors include his mother Nancy Valantine Gill; sister, Rhody Gill Gossett; brothers, Gordon Gill and Kurt Gill; nephews, Tony Gill, Grant and Kyle Gossett; nieces, Sarly Gill Dickinson and Shannon Gossett; aunts, Rose Mary Aldred and Bonnie Gill. Also survived by his best friend Lori Trujillo and many beloved cousins and friends. Visitation will be from Noon until 6 pm on Monday at the mortuary. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, Dec 18, 2012 at 11 am in the Chico Cemetery east of Pueblo with a memorial service to be held at the Avondale United Methodist Church immediately following the burial.
