Roberta J. Thornburg

Roberta J. Thornburg passed away December 8, 2012 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was born in Pueblo January 7, 1923 to Lee and Lena Elizabeth Adamson. Roberta was employed in the CF &I Steel Mill for many years and was active in the Spark Plug Club there. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Cappela Club at the YWCA, the Daughters of the Nile and was active for many years in the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a son Gregory in 1995. Roberta is survived by her husband of 65 years, John Thornburg and a son Scott (Luanne) Thornburg. Her family would like to offer their gratitude to the Life Care Center and Frontier Hospice for their care and consideration. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2012 at 10 AM in the First United Methodist Church, 310 W. 11th Street.
