Kenneth Ray Kiniston passed away Jan. 16, 2012 in Pueblo. Ken was born Jan. 10, 1944 in Lamar and had lived in Pueblo since 1977. His entire career was spent in the grocery business where he was a Retail Service Specialist for Associated Grocers, owned a store in Brush, CO, and in Pueblo was a Meat Cutter and Sea Food Manager for Albertsons before his retirement. Ken was a member of Silver State Lodge #95 AF & AM in Pueblo, the Southern Colorado Scottish Rite Bodies and Al Kaly Shrine where he was a Kaly Klown known as “Smiley”. Mr. Kiniston is survived by his wife of 45 years Marilyn of Pueblo; his two children: Chrystal (Mike) Stark, of Pueblo West, and William (Katia) Kiniston, of Aurora, CO. Ken's grandchildren: Kyla Nichole Marie and Ryan Michael; his siblings: Regina (Leonard) Hutches, of Lamar, Gale (Kim) Kiniston, of Pueblo, Diana (Kelly) Jones, of Kansas, and Gary (Sonja) Kiniston, of Lamar; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be from 2PM until 5PM on Friday at the mortuary. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at 11AM in the Davis Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating and memorial rites by Silver State Lodge #95 AF & AM; cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Ken Kiniston may be made to the Al Kaly Shrine Transportation Fund or Sangre de Cristo Hospice, direct or through the mortuary. Online condolences at www.DavisMortuary.com
