Lynda "Shelly" M. Steffen

Lynda M. “Shelly” Steffen went with her Papa fishing on Jan 27, 2011. Shelly succumbed to breast cancer after a 2 year battle. She was born October 10, 1967 in Ft Collins. She loved to fish and trips to Cripple Creek with her family. She was preceded in death by her grandfather Wesley West. Her survivors include the love of her life daughter Miranda Steffen; son, James Steffen; mother, Lyn (Don) Huddleston; father, Michael (Mary) Blackford; brother Michael (Connie) Blackford; sister, Darlene McDonald, her grandmother Jo West; aunt Vicki (Robert) Evenson; nieces and nephews, Karlie, Sean, Casey, Alyssa, Keli-Jo and Kodi-Coy as well as numerous other relatives and friends including her special friend Joe Cole. Shelly was a good mother and caretaker and was loved by many. Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
